The year was 2020. Cycling (and the whole recreation industry) was experiencing a boom like never seen before. However, parts were impossible to find, lead times were skyrocketing, and shipping costs went through the roof. It was then we made the decision to take the supply chain into our own hands and never be at the mercy of issues happening across the world.

Shipping rims across the ocean is difficult. A rim in a box in 95% air, and air is very expensive to ship. Take control of your inventory with quicker shipping, much lower shipping costs, leading you to take more frequent shipments.
With quicker inventory turnover the needs to stock massive amounts of inventory is over!

Boyd Johnson, President
Founder of Boyd Cycling, Boyd Johnson made the decision to begin onshoring and set up Olive Manufacturing Group as a resource for other companies who want to procure their aluminum rims without having to go halfway across the world.
Jason Daly, Head of Manufacturing
Jason loves cycling and also runs multiple manufacturing companies. Jason is instrumental in setting up OMG, anodization, as well as keeping all the machinery maintained and running smoothly.

Nicole is the Sales Queen. She will make sure you get the products you need, help you with ordering, and ensure a smooth transaction.

We have to give a shout out to our amazing production staff. They make sure the finest rims are produced on time and in an efficient manner.
